Regular columnist in many of the Telugu and English Magazines. The most popular Telugu periodical 'Swati Magazine' has published his regular column for continuous five years. Another Telugu weekly 'Andhra Jyoti' has published his feature for 250 weeks regularly. Written Eight Books in Telugu on Mental Health the first of their kind in Telugu namely 'Maanasaveena, Mano Darpanam, Manasuku Jabbulostaai, Manasika Samasyalu - Samadhanalu, Youth Today' and 'Emotional Intelligence' and 'Youth Psychology' . Gives talks regularly in All India Radio, and many television Channels like Doordarshan, Gemini, Teja, TV-9 and E-TV. He is the current President of the Indian Psychiatric Society and the SAARC Psychiatric Federation. He is the First Telugu Doctor to be elected as the National President of Indian Psychiatric Society in 60 years of its History.Appointed as the Chairman and 1st Class Magistrate of Juvenile Welfare Board for Krishna and Guntur Districts for the 4th time in succession by the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh.

Published many scientific articles in various national and international journals Participated in many National and International Conferences in Egypt, Dubai, Singapore, Kenya, U.K, Malaysia, Thailand, Pakistan, Italy, Brazil, Srilanka, Indonesia, U.S.A and Bangladesh. Toured different parts of the state to educate the people against the myth of the sensational "Banamati" (Black Magic) fears.Conducted many free Mental Health Camps at various rural places where there are no mental health facilities and treated many patients.

Appointed as the Academic Senate Member of Acharya Nagarjuna University by Govt. of A.P. in 2006.
He received A.P. State Government's "UGADI VISHISTA PURASKARAM" for the year 2002, in the field of Medicine and Psychiatry, honoured by the Chief Minister Sri N. Chandrababu Naidu at Hyderabad on Ugadi Day.
He was also 'Shiromani' Award given by Delhi Telugu Academy for the year 2001 at New Delhi, honoured by the Union Minister Sri Sharad Yadav.
R ecipient Madras Telugu Academy Silver Jubilee Award - 2005, for the outstanding services in Psychiatry, presented at Chennai by Revenue Minister Sri Dharmana Prasada Rao and Sri T.N. Seshan.
R ecipient of 'Kinnera Ugadi Puraskaram for 2001' at Hyderabad for the Excellent services in the field of Mental Health, honoured by the then Speaker of Lok Sabha Late Sri G.M.C. Balayogi.
Received 'Ugadi Puraskaram' by Orissa Telugu Associations in 2006.
He was conferred the Title of "Mano Vignana Vibhushan" by the Hon'ble Speaker of A.P. Assembly, Sri K.R. Suresh Reddy in Vijayawada recently.

Awarded with "Vishista Puraskaram" of Acharya Nagarjuna University in 2012.
